There’s something appealing and fancy about cloth napkins. There’s also something forbidding about them. Who has time to iron linens? Who wants to iron linens? Not me.
But when I saw a little article in Martha Stewart Living magazine about seersucker cloth napkins, I was sold. They look so cute without being overly formal. And, as Martha pointed out, seersucker is naturally puckery, so you don’t have to iron them. Just get them fresh from the laundry and they’re ready to go. Now that’s a cloth napkin I can get along with.
