I can’t help it, I love a baby bustle.

In an attempt to use up some of my bounteous ribbon supply, I decided to do another bustle skirt with a ribbon/lace panel for the back of the skirt.

I got it finished with just the muslin and lace layer, but it needed a little something extra. I loved the rich feel of the panel, and I remembered some copper liner in my stash. I added a longer liner (with lace trim) to give it a little color and richness.

It’s definitely not traditional baby wear, but I think that’s what I like most about it.
